Open-source relational database programs are undergoing rapid development. And a Linux machine is an excellent platform to deploy them on. In the age of the Internet, databases are indispensable in the numerous areas of dynamic-content-service. The latter includes electronic-commerce applications, web-email applications etc. Database programs also have their traditional applications as ' multiuser electronic filing cabinets' and as such are indispensable in banking and increasingly in web-based serving of encrypted data though encrypted tunnels etc.
The three most well-know open-source databases are
PostgreSQL,MySQL and
FirebirdSQL.
All are SQL (sequel-query-language)-based programs. All are excellent client-server (i.e.network-based ) programs. But of the three PostgreSQL is reputed to contain the most robust and sophisticated features. Our main offerings are courses/consultancy with PostgreSQL. We offer:
Type1-PostgreSQL course
We offer PostgreSQL course for traditional PC-machines. An example of these is described in figure postgresql-course1 below:
